Donation Questions
What kinds of donations do you accept?
We greatly appreciate donations of non-perishable food items, such as canned tuna, soups, pasta, rice, cereal, canned vegetables, cooking oil, baking items, crackers and packaged snacks. Additionally, we accept donations of personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and pet food.
We follow the USDA food program guidelines for the types of items we can accept. We cannot accept homemade or unpackaged foods, opened items (except for pet food), alcoholic beverages, items without labels, canned items that have dents/ or damage to the top or bottom seals, and non-food items such as furniture. If you are unsure about a specific donation, please contact us for clarification.

How can I drop off my donation?
Donation of food items can be dropped off during our normal hours of operation or by calling to set up an alternative time with one of our Volunteers.
Monetary donations can be dropped off in person, mailed to our our mailing address PO Box 1011 Circleville, OH 43113, or submitted online by clicking the donate button at the top of our homepage.
Can I organize a food drive?
Absolutely! We encourage and appreciate food drives and donation events organized by individuals, groups, or businesses. Please contact us in advance to discuss the details and coordinate the logistics of your donation drive.
Questions about Volunteering
How can I become a volunteer at ECHA Food Pantry?
To become a volunteer, simply call or stop by our pantry during our operating hours and express your interest in volunteering. Our staff will provide you with the necessary information and guide you through our current needs. We do ask that Volunteers commit to a regular shift/time/service activity/frequency so we can offer reliable hours of operation to our clients
Can clients of the food pantry serve as volunteers?
To ensure a fair and unbiased distribution of resources, we do not allow current clients of the food pantry to serve as volunteers. We believe in avoiding any potential conflicts of interest.

Questions for Clients
How often can I come to the food pantry?

Clients can visit once per month.

What do I need to bring?
All you will need to bring is an I.D. and, for your first visit, some other proof of address within Pickaway County such as a utility bill or other mail.

What kind of things/How much food will I get?
​
Our goal is to provide 5 days or 15 meals worth of groceries for each family that visits. Our stock varies. Typically we have a variety of items such as fruits, vegetables, canned and packaged foods, frozen meat, eggs, breads, and pastries.
